Introducing Extended Hours & Wraparound Care

October 2026

The Burrow Nursery & Preschool in Ashtead, Surrey, now offers extended hours and wraparound care, giving families even more flexibility while ensuring children continue to enjoy everything that makes life at The Burrow so special.

Early Starts

For families who need to begin their day a little earlier, we’ve introduced ‘early starts’ from 7:45am, giving parents greater flexibility before work or making sibling school drop-offs that little bit easier. A light breakfast is included, giving our Bunnies a calm, welcoming start to their day before heading off on their woodland adventures!

Extended Afternoons

For children staying all day, we have also introduced a new extended option, allowing families to choose the finish time that works best for them. Alongside our existing 12pm (morning session) and 3:30pm (full day) finishes, families can now also choose the extended afternoon session until 4:30pm*.

The extended hours give children even more time to explore, discover, create and have fun through meaningful play, outdoor experiences and enriching activities. Whether they're investigating in our magical private woodland, making music or gardening in our afternoon clubs, using their imaginations, getting creative, or caring for our friendly animals, every part of the day is designed to nurture confidence, curiosity and independence.

*A 6pm finish may be possible, subject to availability. Please enquire for more information.

Woodland Holiday Club

We're delighted that our unique Woodland Holiday Club is now available for our Preschool Bunnies during the school holidays, as well as their primary-aged siblings. The Woodland Holiday Club is also open to other local primary-aged children, subject to availability.

Packed with exciting activities (campfires!), woodland adventures, den building, natural crafts and games, The Burrow’s Woodland Holiday Club provides children with a fun, engaging environment where they can continue exploring, investigating and learning outside of term time.
