A Special Visitor at The Burrow

We had a surprise lesson in Bulgarian dancing this week, which was great fun, even if the teachers weren’t very good at it!

The children were fab, of course, listening carefully to our first Bulgarian words and trying to repeat them. We had a bit of a history lesson, listened to Bulgarian music while we learnt about a famous national singer, and looked at some traditional clothing.

I hope Maria enjoyed her visit as much as we did, even though we asked her to sing Raya’s favourite nursery rhyme several times!
