The Burrow Celebrates its 10th Birthday!

WOW, our nursery and preschool in Ashtead, Surrey, has been open 10 years! On 19th January we turned double figures—how proud are we?!

We had a great time celebrating our 10th Birthday with a PARTY! We enjoyed a range of yummy snacks, including cake and party rings (of course!). The teachers and Bunnies had such a blast dancing, singing and playing party games.

Each year, this day is very special to us, but this year in particular feels like an amazing achievement, and it has been lovely to look back on all our success over the last decade! Some of these favourite moments have included rescuing 18 chickens, breeding over 100 stick insects, capturing some fantastic photos, extending our veranda, building the deck, and adding the new conservatory.

We are also proud to have completed our Jigsaw EY consultancy accreditation, survived 2 OFSTED inspections and of course are hugely happy with all the inspired teaching and learning we get to witness each day!

Over the past 10 years, over 300 children have been 'taught to DO, inspired to BE' and that is what it’s all about!

We would like to thank all our supporters, parents, teachers and children who have helped shape The Burrow into the magical place we feel it is and look forward to another amazing decade ahead!
