We have experienced all kinds of weather so far this year! Our Wood has been under water for several months due to the amount of rain we experienced at the beginning of the year. Nevertheless we have fully embraced the environment and continued to have fun, learn lots and explore what the wood has to offer in its many forms.
So much fun and curiosity has been had with the puddles and mud! The Bunnies enjoyed going on adventures through the 'rivers', collecting water for potions in their watering cans and measuring how high the water reached on their wellington boots!
As the water cleaned from the wood, we found ourselves with lots of MUD! Great opportunities for brick building with mud cement, nice wet ground for digging and new bugs and insects appearing all around us.
Spring has now finally sprung at The Burrow and we are enjoying seeing the beautiful flowers and plants appearing around us. Our Wood is looking even more beautiful now we are seeing the crocuses, wild garlic, primroses, hellebores and snow drops.
It has been fantastic to see the Bunnies exploring the different plants, investigating the pond and discovering what might be living inside it.
We are so lucky to be able to explore the natural wood we have on offer everyday and it has been a real adventure to be able to explore it in all weathers!
